RJ’s Story

“When I first came to college, my mother asked me if I was going to join a Christian group and I told her without missing a beat, “NO - I have no desire to have that experience again.” However, within the first month, God kept putting Christians and Chi Alpha students in my path and I kept politely denying invitations. I finally gave in to an invitation and I swear that service was written just for me as I felt God tugging at my heart. Since then, I have truly learned what it means to be in a relationship and I have been blessed to disciple other men because of it.”

Jess’s Story

“I came to college fully expecting to have a typical college experience, but God had other plans for me. Being in Chi Alpha, I’ve learned so much about the Lord and how awesome He is, but I’ve also learned how to love myself and the people around me better. Chi Alpha taught me how to listen to the Lord and do everything I can to follow the plan He has for me, rather than the plan I have for myself. Chi Alpha makes me better and the things that God has taught me through this ministry will stick with me for the rest of my life.”

Brianna’s Story

“I was brought into the Chi Alpha community my freshman year and it is the best possible thing that could have happened to me. I was looking to join a campus ministry to deepen my faith, which hadn't grown much throughout my life, and I found just that. Chi Alpha provided me with an instant network of friends who were extremely welcoming and kind followers of Christ. They've also held me accountable in growing my faith and I couldn't be more thankful for how much growth and happiness I have experienced with the help of my Chi Alpha community.“
